Turning sixteen years of craft into demand you can see.

A strategy, website and channel roadmap for CYP Wheels: handbuilt carbon rims and racing wheels, designed and assembled in Switzerland.

Recap of our conversation
What I heard from you

A specialist product, held back by visibility

You design rims, you do not rebrand them
Own shapes, high grade materials, and wheels that stay current for years instead of being restyled every season.
Rims are the core, complete wheels are the shop window
Rims to shops and wheelbuilders, complete wheels direct to riders. High margin, simple to ship, no assembly on your side.
The service is the difference
Direct contact with you, two days to a week turnaround, duties prepaid across Europe. The big brands cannot copy that.
The website is live, but quiet
Four months online, visits rising, almost every order still arriving through email or Instagram.
Discipline, not fear, about budget
You would rather start small and prove it than spend CHF 1,500 a month bidding against brands with far deeper pockets. I agree.
What I bring

Strategy first, spend second

15+ years across sport, luxury and lifestyle
Brand and performance marketing for international brands, now applied to a niche where craft and expertise are the product.
Strategy and execution, one roof
Channels, website and content thought through as one system, not three separate quotes from three separate suppliers.
Honest about what works
If paid search is not the right first move for CYP Wheels, I will tell you before you spend the money rather than after.
The opportunity
Why CYP Wheels, why now

Your buyers are already searching. They are just not finding you.

Riders who care about internal width, spoke count and rim depth do not respond to banner advertising. They search for specifics, they read forums, and they ask a builder they trust. That is a room you belong in, and a room the big brands struggle to enter.

The wheelbuilder channel is the fastest route
Rims are high margin, cheap to ship and need no assembly on your side. The builders and independent shops who buy them are a finite, findable list, not an audience you have to rent every month.
Technical search is winnable
You will not outbid the big brands on carbon wheels. You can own the long tail: internal widths, hookless, ERD, gravel against road builds. The same pages are what AI assistants now quote back to buyers.
Sixteen years of expertise is the content
How a rim is designed, why a six year old model still sells, a repaired wheel leaving the workshop like new. Credibility you already have, not a story anyone has to invent.
Growth roadmap
The roadmap

Three phases, one direction

Phase 01 · 4 to 8 weeks
Strategy and roadmap
Who buys, where they look, which channels deserve your time and your money, and a prioritised 90 day plan. Everything else builds on this.
Phase 02 · 3 to 4 weeks
Website and search
A conversion and search review of the site you already have, written as a brief your web agency can execute on the monthly service you already pay for.
Phase 03 · month to month
Ongoing support
Optional. A content rhythm you can hold, outreach to builders and shops, and a small controlled paid test once we know where the demand sits.
Later chapters: a dealer programme for selected shops, email to the customers who already come back, and paid campaigns once the tracking tells us where they will pay off. The phases are modular: start with Phase 1 and stop there if that is enough.
Phase 1 · Strategy and roadmap
Phase 01 · Strategy and roadmap

Decide where to play before you spend

4 to 8 weeks from kick-off
What is included
Buyer analysis
The rider, the wheelbuilder and the shop treated as three different buyers, with what each needs to see before trusting an unfamiliar brand.
Competitor benchmark
Four to six brands you name, taken apart: positioning, pricing, channels and where the gaps are.
Positioning and messaging
The two or three things CYP Wheels says everywhere: designed not rebranded, built to last, reachable in a day.
Channel strategy
Which channel does which job: search, Instagram, forums, the wheelbuilder channel, email. What to start, what to postpone, what to skip.
Analytics and tracking check
Making sure what you already have records what matters, so the next decisions come from numbers.
What you get
📄
A strategy document
Buyers, competitors, positioning and channels in one place, written so you can act on it alone.
📋
A prioritised 90 day plan
A short list in order, with the effort and the cost written against each line.
💬
A messaging sheet
One page of ready to reuse wording for your site, your emails and your posts.
🎥
A two hour working session
We walk through everything together, recorded so you can come back to it.
Phase 2 · Website and search
Phase 02 · Website and search

Turn the site you have into a site that sells

3 to 4 weeks, after Phase 1
What is included
Conversion review, page by page
What makes a first time visitor hesitate, and what is missing before someone commits CHF 2,000 to wheels they cannot touch.
Search and AI visibility
The technical queries your buyers actually type, in Switzerland and Italy, mapped to pages you have or should add.
Trust and social proof
Reviews from customers who already come back, the guarantee, the repair service, the real lead times.
Structure for two audiences
Rims presented to builders, complete wheels to riders, without either getting in the other one's way.
A check once your agency has implemented
I review the result against the brief so nothing is lost in translation.
What you get
🔍
A written website review
Page by page, with every fix ranked by impact against effort.
🗺
A keyword and page map
Which question each page should answer, and which pages are still missing.
🛠
An implementation brief
Written so your web agency can execute it directly, on the service you already pay for.
A review of the finished work
Once the fixes are live, I check them against the brief.
Optional add-on: I write the copy for your key pages, in the tone we agree in Phase 1.
Phase 3 · Ongoing support
Phase 03 · Ongoing support

Keep the plan moving, month by month

Month to month, three month minimum, renewed by agreement
What is included
A content plan you can actually shoot
The workshop, the scale, a build, a repair before and after. Your cousin already takes the photographs: what is missing is a rhythm.
Wheelbuilder and shop outreach
A qualified list for Switzerland and Italy, a dealer pitch, and a sequence to work through. This is where revenue tends to move first.
Community presence
Where the technical conversations happen, and how to show up as the builder who answers properly.
A controlled paid test
Only when the numbers justify it. A small budget on the queries closest to a purchase, measured properly, stopped if it does not pay.
What you get, every month
📅
A content calendar with briefs
What to shoot, what to write and when to post it, ready to hand to your photographer.
👤
An outreach list and templates
Named builders and shops with contacts, plus messages you can send yourself.
📞
One monthly call
What moved, what did not, and what we do next month.
📈
A short written recap
Two pages, the numbers that matter, no dashboard you will never open.

Phases are modular and can run one at a time: this timeline can stretch or compress around your evenings and your approval speed.
How we work
How we work

Simple, honest, modular

💬
Communication
Email and WhatsApp, with calls when a decision needs a conversation. Fast answers, and always from someone who knows your account.
🧩
Pick and choose
Each phase stands on its own. Take one, take all three, or stop after Phase 1: no hard feelings either way.
🤝
Your agency stays your agency
I brief, they build. No attempt to replace the people already looking after your website, and no hidden margin on their work.
📅
Approval flows
Shared Google Docs, clear deadlines, one revision round per deliverable. Built around evenings, not office hours.
🌱
It starts from you
CYP Wheels stays your brand. Sixteen years of knowledge is the raw material: I organise it and put it where buyers are looking.
🔑
You own everything
Strategy, briefs, keyword lists, calendars and accounts are delivered to you and belong to CYP Wheels.
Let's begin
Next steps

Three small steps to get going

1
Review this proposal and note your questions.
2
Tell me which phases you want, and we confirm the scope together.
3
Kick off with a short call to hand over your analytics and catalogue.
One honest note
Search takes months. Builders do not.
If you want revenue to move before winter, Phase 1 will most likely point at the wheelbuilder and shop channel first. Search and content compound, but they compound slowly. I would rather tell you that now than sell you a plan that only pays off next summer.
Take what is useful, leave what is not. The roadmap is yours either way.
